06 · Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ)
Open-world cooperative Zombies experiment.
- Open-world Zombies format MWZ broke from traditional round-based Zombies. Open-world map (Urzikstan); up to 24 players (3-player squads in shared world); time-based extraction.
- Urzikstan setting Repurposed Warzone map. Persistent zombie-infected environment; multiple POIs; tiered danger zones.
- Three Threat Tiers Tier 1 (yellow): easiest zone; Tier 2 (orange): mid-tier; Tier 3 (red): hardest. Plus the Dark Aether (Tier 4 equivalent) for endgame challenge.

- Multiplayer still playable MW3 multiplayer servers remain online. Smaller population than at peak but matchmaking still functional.
