To disable cheats type sv_cheats 0.

  • God Mode and Health Commands

    With sv_cheats enabled, type buddha to enable buddha mode which prevents your health from dropping below one point. For full god mode type god in the console. God mode makes your player invulnerable to all incoming damage from the enemy team. Max health can be set by typing player_healthmax [value] where value is the number you want. Health regen can be enabled so your player gains health over time automatically. Type heal commands through the console to restore health instantly. Note that these commands require sv_cheats enabled to function.

    Type sv_maxspeed [value] to set the maximum movement speed for all players on the server. The default value is 450 but you can increase movement speed significantly by entering a higher number. To kick all bots type tf_bot_kick all. To spawn a bot at a specific spawn point type the corresponding command with the map spawn location value. Note that bot commands require sv_cheats enabled or operator status on the server.

    The sentry gun and other engineer buildings can be spawned and managed through console commands. Type ent_create obj_sentrygun to spawn a sentry gun at your position. The full list of buildable entities includes obj_dispenser and obj_teleporter. Building health is set through the corresponding commands for each structure. These commands require sv_cheats enabled and are useful for testing map layouts and custom game modes.

  • Class and Team Commands

    Force all players to a specific class with tf_forced_holiday [value]. Switch your player to spy class with the following command in the console on a cheats enabled server. Scout, spy, sniper, and all other class assignments can be forced through the picker setbuilder system.
